Dr. Farringer has lived and worked in Reno almost half his life, moving here in 1991 following his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at The Ohio State University. He graduated from Manchester University (North Manchester, IN) in 1981, and Indiana University School of Medicine in 1985. Before discovering that he was really meant to be an Obstetrician-Gynecologist, he completed his Family Practice Residency at South Bend Memorial Hospital in 1988. Dr. Farringer is married and has two teenagers, two German Shepherds, and one cat. When not playing with his family and pets, he enjoys running, skiing, tennis, golf, landscape architecture, and home remodeling. He has been Board-Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1993.
Dr. Najima joined Sierra Women’s Health in 2001 following completion of her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of New Mexico. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at San Diego, and her Master’s degree from the University of Nevada-Reno. Dr. Najima received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University Of Nevada School Of Medicine. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. In 1991 she began her service with the Air National Guard. Dr. Najima was a flight surgeon at the time of her retirement in 2006. Dr. Najima is married and has two children who are now both enjoying the college experience. In spite of a very busy practice, she still finds time to play tennis competitively as well as snow skiing with her husband.
Margo moved to Reno in 1995 to attend the University of Reno, Nevada. She left her home in Wrangell, Alaska to pursue her college education. In 1995 she graduated from UNR with a Bachelor’s degree in Science with a focus on clinical dietetics. From 2004-2006, Margo attended the physician assistant program at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon and graduated with a Master’s of Science in physician assistant studies. After deciding to make Reno, NV her home for the second time, she started her career as an emergency room physician assistant at Saint Mary’s Emergency Department and remained there from 2006-2016. In April of 2016, Margo was invited to join Sierra Women’s Health and continues providing care as their first mid-level provider. Margo is married to her husband Matt and together they have two young energetic boys that they love to take fishing and on family trips, as well as teaching them to have fun outdoors.
